A yummy homemade syrup Ingredients:
2 cups dark corn syrup |
1/3 cup dark brown sugar |
1/2 cup water |
1 cup pecan pieces |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Combine syrup, sugar, and water in a saucepan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil; boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in pecans and vanilla. 2. Pour into hot jars, leaving 1/4 inch head space. Adjust caps and process in 10 minute boiling water bath. |
