Good enough to eat out of the pan! If you can hold yourself back, try it over chocolate pound cake or ice cream. Ingredients:
1 cup light corn syrup |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/3 cup butter |
1 egg, beaten |
1 tablespoon vanilla |
1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped |
Directions:
1. Combine the corn syrup, sugar, butter and egg in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 2 minutes without stirring. 2. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and pecans. Serve warm or at room temperature. |
