Yes....yet another praline pumpkin pie recipe. This one is my family's favorite. Ingredients:
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed |
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger |
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree |
2 large eggs |
1 cup evaporated milk |
2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
1 (9 inch) pie crusts, unbaked |
1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped |
2 tablespoons brown sugar, firmly packed |
2 tablespoons butter, softened |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425ºF. 2. In a large bowl combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. 3. Add pumpkin, eggs, evaporated milk and vanilla; mix well. 4. Pour into the unbaked pie crust. 5. Bake 15 min, reduce temperature to 350ºF and bake an additional 15 minute. 6. Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine pecans, brown sugar and butter; mix well. 7. Sprinkle on top of the pie and bake 30 min longer or until center is set. 8. Cool completely on a wire rack. |
