PRALINE LACE COOKIES This recipe is one of many obtained from cookie exchanges I have held for the past eighteen years. This one is from my friend Marie Davies. Ingredients:
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar |
3/4 cup corn syrup |
3/4 cup unsalted butter |
1 cup all purpose flour |
5 tablespoons ground almonds |
2 tablespoons triple sec liqueur |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 then grease two cookie sheets. 2. Place brown sugar, corn syrup and unsalted butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. 3. Stirring constantly bring to a boil then immediately remove from heat. 4. Stir in remaining ingredients. 5. Drop by 1/2 teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets leaving at least 2” around each cookie. 6. Bake for 6 minutes then remove carefully from pan with spatula. |
