Ingredients:
1 cup graham cracker crumbs |
3 tablespoons sugar |
3 tablespoons margarine, melted |
24 ounces cream cheese, softened |
3/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed |
2 tablespoons unbleached all-purpose flour |
3 large eggs |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped |
maple syrup |

Directions:
1. Combine crumbs, granulated sugar and margarine; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan. 2. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. 3. Combine cream cheese, brown sugar and flour, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. 4. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. 5. Blend in vanilla; stir in chopped pecans. 6. Pour over crust. 7. Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes. 8. Reduce oven temperature to 250°F and continue baking an additional 30 minutes. 9. Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan. 10. Chill. 11. Brush with maple syrup; top with pecan halves. |
