Ingredients:
1 cup chopped onion |
1 tablespoon vegetable oil |
1 1/2 cups well drained crushed tomatoes |
1 (4 ounce) can green chilies |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 lb extra-sharp cheddar cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. Saute the onion in the oil in a heavy frying pan over medium heat until it is soft but not brown,about 8 minutes. 2. Add the tomatoes,chilies,salt,pepper and cheese and cook stirring until the cheese is melted. 3. Serve with large corn chips. |
