Found this recipe in Outside magazine and wanted to share a healthy smoothie full of anti-oxidants, is protein-rich, and has low-glycemic fruit sugars. Ingredients:
2 cups chopped or grated carrots |
1 1/2 cups pineapple juice |
1 cup fresh orange juice |
3 tablespoons honey |
4 ice cubes |
1/2 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt |
Directions:
1. Blend all ingredients until smooth. 2. Drink! |
