~A sharp hot sauce with an impact~ Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
1 tablespoon flour |
1-1/4 cups beef stock |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon powdered mustard,(mix to a paste with a little water) |
pinch salt and pepper |
2 tablespoons parsley,fresh,chopped |
2 pickled cucumbers,chopped,finely |
Directions:
1. Melt Butter in a pan. 2. Stir in the flour and cook briefly,to remove the flour,taste. 3. Graduallly add the stock,stir all the time to make a smooth sauce. 4. Add the vinegar,worcestershire sauce,and mustard. 5. Cover and cook gently for 10 minutes. 6. Add salt and pepper to taste,more mustard,if you like,parsley,and chopped cucumbers. 7. ~Good with rich and oily food~ |
