This is one of my mothers favorite recipes, we didn't eat much poultry but this recipe allowed for many changes amongst ingredients. Ingredients:
1 hen, cooked and boned (i use chicken normally) |
1 1/2 cups chopped celery |
1 1/2 cups diced cheese |
2 eggs, beaten |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1 (12 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
4 -5 cups ritz crackers |
1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in large casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes. |
