It is take a bit long for the preparation but it is worth it. Ingredients:
4-5 big potatoes |
400gr hard cheese for examble, reggato, gratted |
egg |
3 egg yolks |
1- 11/2 cups oil |
flour to fold the balls. |
Directions:
1. Boil water and cook the potatoes until they are ready 2. mash them in a large bawl and let them cool. 3. add gratted chesse, egg and egg yolks. 4. mix well and then form small balls. 5. put in a fry pan the oil and let it get very hot. 6. fold the balls in the flour and then fry. 7. fry about 3 min each side until they are gold. dont overfry! 8. let them cool 9. (if you like you can taste with basil or oregano. dont put salt thogh. the cheese is salty enough) 10. enjoy. |
