Potatoes and Peas in Cream

A wonderful side dish.
Ingredients:
8 small potatoes
2 cups frozen peas
1/2 cup finely minced onion
1 cup milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
salt and pepper
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
parsley
Directions:
1. In large pan, bring 8 cups water to a boil.
2. Drop in potatoes.
3. Reduce heat to low.
4. Cook till potatoes are tender, about 8 minutes.
5. Drain and cool slightly (enough to handle).
6. Cut potatoes in rounds.
7. Put back in pan.
8. Add onions, milk, cream,and spices.
9. Boil 5 minutes.
10. Add peas.
11. Stir well.
12. Sprinkle with parsley.
