Potatoes and Green Chilies

I actually prefer a Mexican blend of cheese in this recipe, but any cheese will do.
Ingredients:
6 potatoes, sliced thin
salt
1 (8 ounce) carton sour cream
1 (3 ounce) can green chilies, chopped
1/2 lb monterey jack cheese, actually any cheese will do
Directions:
1. Slice potatoes very thin.
2. Mix sour cream with cheese and chilies then toss in potatoes.
3. Pour into a greased dish.
4. Bake at least 30 - 45 minutes at 375°F.
