Love this recipe especially as a side with hamburgers and grilled chicken instead of a potato salad.Goes well as a side dish and is a crowd pleaser:0) Ingredients:
2 pounds package hash browns(cubed potatoes) |
1 tsp salt |
1 tsp pepper |
1 can cream of chicken soup |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
1-10 ounce bag of grated cheddar cheese |
1/4 cup of melted butter |
1 pint sour cream |
topping |
1/2 cup of melted butter |
1 cup crushed corn flakes (can be substituted with rice krispies) |
Directions:
1. Mix all eight ingredients in a bowl. 2. Place the mixture in a 9*13 greased pan. 3. Combine the topping and sprinkle over the potatoes. 4. Bake at 350C for an hour. 5. Garnish with finely chopped chives or dried parsley. |
