Potatoe Soup is a family favorite for sure! Try out this dish! Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. of chopped onions |
1 1/2 c. of chopped celery |
4 c. of water |
8 peeled and cubed potatoes |
15 slices broken into pieces american cheese |
6 tbsp. of unsalted butter |
4 tbsp. of all-purpose flour |
2 1/3 c. of milk |
2 tbsp. of chopped fresh parsley |
Directions:
1. First you want to add butter to your pan over medium flame. 2. Now Saute the onion, celery for approx. 5-10 min. 3. Next you can add in the water and potatoes, letting this come to a boil. 4. Then you will want to lower the flame and simmer until potatoes are tender. 5. Next you will add in cheese letting met completely! 6. In a small bowl, add your flour and milk whisking well. 7. Now pour this into the soup letting this thicken up for around 5 min. 8. Ladle up and serve! |
