This is from my Mom's recipe cards. I have not tried this recipe. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1 cup celery, chopped |
1 cup onion, chopped |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1 tablespoon poultry seasoning |
2 quarts potatoes, riced and hot |
1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs |
1 egg, beaten |
1/3 cup milk |
1 teaspoon celery seed |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in skillet. 2. Add onions and celery. 3. Cook stirring frequently, about 5 minutes. 4. Add seasoning. 5. Cook about 3 minutes longer. 6. Add to remaining ingredients and mix well. |
