I found this recipe about 5 years ago. We have altered it to fit our likes. We love to camp, this came in so handy when we would. Its also great for when we travel from my Mothers to here and from here to there. Ingredients:
1 3/4 cup instant mashed potatoes |
1 1/2 cup dry milk |
2 tablespoons instant chicken broth granules |
1 tablespoon dried minced onion |
1 tablespoon italian seasoning mixture |
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper |
1 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt, optional |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. 2. Store in 1 quart canning jars or zipper top plastic bags to store. 3. To serve: Put 1/2 cup mix in soup bowl and add 1 cup boiling water. Stir until smooth. 4. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 5. -Tuilelaith's Note- 6. I have high blood pressure, so we seldom use salt in anything. 7. You may want to use white pepper so it is not seen.
