This is a creamy potato soup, recipe I came up with, can add left over cubed ham, or bacon, velvetta, So good n filling Ingredients:
8 cups cubed potatoes cooked till tender |
8 tablespoons flour |
8 tablespoons butter |
12 c milk |
salt n pepper to taste |
ripples |
2 eggs |
2 cups flour |
Directions:
1. In large dutch oven melt butter, add flour , mix well n cook till bubbly. Add milk stir n cook untill starts to thicken. Add potatoes continue cooking, add ripples n cook for 5- 10 more minutes. 2. Ripples 3. Mix egg and flour together with 2 knives, add to soup stirring with fork to seperate. 4. To add cooked ham or bacon, add when you add potaotes. To add velevetta, add when you add milk. 5. If you don't know what ripples are , they are like little dumplings. |
