Recipe I got from my grandma-my family really likes it. Ingredients:
4 -5 medium potatoes |
bacon |
1 onion |
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk |
1 tablespoon butter |
salt and pepper |
1/2 cup chopped celery (optional) |
1/2 cup corn (optional) |
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms (optional) |
Directions:
1. Peel and cube potatoes. 2. Chop bacon and fry it. 3. Chop onion and other veggies if desired. 4. Put potatoes, bacon, onion, & veggies in large pot; cover with water. 5. Cook until fork tender. 6. Add butter and milk. 7. Remove from heat. 8. Salt and pepper. 9. Enjoy. |
