My mom was a wonderful cook this is her recipe, she was able to make the plainest ingredients into the best foods.
Ingredients:
5 lbs russet potatoes, chunked
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons dill weed
1 tablespoon salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
1 lb ham, cubed
Directions:
1. Peel and chunk potatoes; boil in just enough water to cover.
2. add all ingredients except milk; when potates are tender, slightly mash about 1/2 of the potatoes.
3. add milk simmer 20 min.
4. serve with warm buttered bread.
