My mom was a wonderful cook this is her recipe, she was able to make the plainest ingredients into the best foods. Ingredients:
5 lbs russet potatoes, chunked |
1/2 cup milk |
2 tablespoons dill weed |
1 tablespoon salt |
2 teaspoons black pepper |
1 lb ham, cubed |
Directions:
1. Peel and chunk potatoes; boil in just enough water to cover. 2. add all ingredients except milk; when potates are tender, slightly mash about 1/2 of the potatoes. 3. add milk simmer 20 min. 4. serve with warm buttered bread. |
