Picked this one up in Jacksonville Fl. It's lovely to look at in a large (3 1/2 qt) glass bowl. Make a tasty addition to any party or potluck. Ingredients:
1 qt diced cooked potatoes |
2 cups cooked peas |
2 (6 1/2 oz) cans tuna, drained |
1/2 tsp dill weed |
3 cups lettuce shredded |
2 cups chopped tomatoes |
2 cups chopped cucumbers |
sauce: 1 cup mayo |
1 cup sour cream |
1/2 milk |
1/4 cup chopped dill pickle |
1/4 cup green onion slices |
1/2 tsp dry mustard |
Directions:
1. Combine the potatoes and peas. 2. Toss tuna with the dill weed. 3. Layer in bowl, the lettuce, potatoe mixture, tomato, tuna mixture and cukes. 4. Top with 1 1/2 cups of the dill sauce. 5. Cover. Chill. Serve with the remaining sauce. 6. SAUCE: Combine the sauce ingredients, mix well. |
