This is another recipe I got from my neighbor...it is soooooo good!!! Ingredients:
2 c. shredded hash browns |
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese |
1/2 c. shredded monterey jack cheese |
1 tsp. salt, divided |
5 eggs |
1/2 c milk |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F 2. Combine potatoes, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese and 1/2 teaspoon salt. 3. Press into the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9-inch pie plate. 4. In a bowl, beat eggs and milk. 5. Add remaining cheeses and salt then pour over potato crust. 6. Bake for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. 7. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. |
