An old-fashioned favorite! Ingredients:
1 cup potato, grated |
1/4 cup onion, grated |
1 tablespoon garlic, minced |
1 egg |
1/4 cup flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
salt and pepper |
oil (for frying) |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. 2. Heat oil on med-high heat. 3. Drop mixture into oil by 1/4 cups full. 4. use a spatula to flatten slightly, and fry on both sides until golden brown. 5. Drain on paper towels. |
