Yummy and easy! Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 (32 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce |
1 teaspoon dried oregano |
1 teaspoon dried basil |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/3 cup water |
5 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced |
2 (8 ounce) cups shredded mozzarella cheese |
Directions:
1. In a skillet, broown beef with onion; drain. 2. Stir in spaghetti sauce, seasonings, and water; mix well. 3. Pour half of this mixture into a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. 4. Cover with potatoes. 5. Pour remaining sauce over potatoes. 6. Cover tightly with foil. 7. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. 8. Sprinkle with cheese and return to oven for another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. |
