                    From my grandmother. Ingredients: 
                    
                        
                                                8 cups diced potatoes  |  
                                                1/3 cup chopped onion  |  
                                                3 (14 1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth  |  
                                                1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup  |  
                                                1/4 teaspoon pepper  |  
                                                1 cup cream cheese, cubed  |  
                                                1/2 lb bacon, slices cooked and crumbled  |  
                                                chives, for garnish  |  
                                                
                     
                    Directions: 
                    
                        
                            
                                1. In a crock pot, combine the first five ingredients. 2. Cover and cook on low for 8 to ten hours or until potatoes are tender. 3. Add cream cheese and stir until blended. 4. Garnish with bacon and chives.                              |
