These cookies were from our 100th Anniversary Church cookbook; incidentally, the recipe was submitted by one of my husband's great-aunts. A buttery, crunchy cookie with a touch of saltiness from the potato chips that is SO good. Ingredients:
1 c. butter, softened (no substitutes) |
1/2 c. sugar |
2 c. flour |
1 tsp. vanilla |
1/2 c. crushed potato chips |
1/2 c. pecans, chopped |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients; chill dough slightly. 2. Roll into balls, place on cookie sheet, press down with a spoon. 3. Bake at 350 degrees F. for approximately 16 minutes, until set and just golden brown on the edges. |
