The saltiness of the chips gives these cookies a unique flavor. I'm guessing at the number of cookies it made, but I honestly don't remember-it could be more than 2 dozen. Ingredients:
1/2 cup crushed potato chip |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1/2 cup finely ground pecans |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup margarine, softened |
1 large egg yolk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
confectioners' sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine chips, pecans and flour. 2. In another bowl, cream margarine and sugar. 3. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. 4. Add dry ingredients until well mixed. 5. With damp hands, form dough into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets. 6. Bake 15-18 minutes at 350°F or until cookies just begin to color. 7. Cool slightly and roll in 10X sugar. |
