To make a meal of this I add chopped, cooked ham and serve with slices of french bread. Ingredients:
1 large onion, chopped |
2 tablespoons butter |
10 cups water |
6 cups chopped cabbage |
4 cups diced potatoes |
4 tablespoons chicken bouillon |
1 tablespoon minced garlic |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon thyme |
1/8 teaspoon marjoram |
1/8 teaspoon celery seed |
Directions:
1. In large pot, saute onion in butter until tender. 2. Add all other ingredients. 3. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes. |
