Based on a recipe from The Bread Machine Cookbook by Donna Rathmell German, p.112 Ingredients:
3/4 cup potato water |
3 tablespoons butter |
1 egg |
1/2 cup mashed potatoes |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
3 cups bread flour |
2 teaspoons yeast |
Directions:
1. Boil 1-2 peeled potatoes. Save water to use in bread. Mash potatoes, without milk or butter, and let cool to at least lukewarm. 2. Place all ingredients in bread maker and set to basic cycle. |
