Very comforting, very tasty, very potatoey soup sure to please all the potato lovers in you. Ingredients:
5 pounds potatoes |
48 ounces chicken broth |
1 tablespoon salt |
1 cup chopped onions |
1 cup chopped celery |
3 cups half and half |
Directions:
1. Chop up potatoes then bring broth, salt, onions, celery and potatoes to a boil. 2. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes until potatoes are tender. 3. Add half and half then warm through without boiling. 4. Serve into bowls and top with crumbled bacon, chopped green onions or shredded cheese. |
