Pot Roast with Winter Veggies

Beef, potato, turnip, onion & mushrooms. Slow cook. additional seasonings (adding no calories) bay leaves, chili powder, curry powder, oregano, basil. Also 1 can stewed tomatoes (i82700)...adds 17 calories per serving +/-.
Ingredients:
1 3/4 lb beef roast
1 sweet potato
1 cup turnip, diced (i11564)
1 cup onion, diced
4 oz mushrooms
2 cups broth, beef
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Rinse beef roast and pat dry with paper towels.
2. Generously salt & pepper both sides and put at bottom of slow cooker (4-5 quart).
3. Add all veggies except mushrooms.
4. Add broth & Worcestershire sauce, canned stewed tomatoes.
5. Cook on low 8-9 hours.
6. Add mushrooms, stir, cook another 30 minutes.
7. Refrigerate 24 hours.
8. Reheat single servings in microwave.
