simple and classic American pot roast Ingredients:
6 medium red potatoes, thinly sliced |
5 large carrots, thinly sliced |
1 onion, sliced |
1 (3 -4 lb) rump roast |
salt and pepper |
1 cup beef broth |
Directions:
1. put veggies on the bottom, 2. salt and pepper the meat and place on top of the veggies, and pour the broth over the meat. 3. Cook on low 10-12 hours or high 5-6 hrs (the larger the roast the more cooking time it needs). |
