5-Ingredient Fix Contest Entry. Great dinner. Takes a little time to make but well worth it.. Ingredients:
1 (20 ounce) package simply potatoes diced potatoes with onion |
3 -4 lbs chuck roast |
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans condensed golden mushroom soup |
1 3/4 ounces brown gravy mix |
2 cups carrots |
Directions:
1. Boil Roast in water for 2 hours. 2. Take roast out and trim fat off. Cut roast into serving sizes. Keep broth. 3. Preheat oven 350 degrees. 4. In mixing bowl put soup, gravy mix and 2 cups of broth (from roast) mix until soup is dissolved. 5. Cut carrots in thirds (make about same size as potatoes). 6. Spray a 13x9 pan. Place potatoes, carrots and roast in pan. Pour soup mixture on top and cover with foil. 7. Cook for approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until potatoes are done. |
