Beef pot roast Ingredients:
40 g butter |
1346 g lean beef |
3 onions |
4 tomatoes |
1 (250g) mushrooms |
3 g nutmeg |
Directions:
1. clarify butter 2. seal beef on all sides 3. turn down the heat to about 4 or 5 4. add chopped onions 5. add quartered tomatoes 6. cook for about 2 - 3 hours 7. in the last hour or so add chopped mushrooms 8. let beef cool before carving |
