Crock Pot Roast Ingredients:
1/2 cup flour |
14 oz beef broth |
3 tablespoons tomato paste |
1 tsp thyme |
1 tsp salt |
1 tsp pepper |
2 1/2 lb boneless beef chuck roast or top sirloin roast |
8 oz carrots |
4 stalks celery |
1 large onion |
1 lb potatoes (small new potatoes work well) |
Directions:
1. Coat cooker with Pam then add flour, broth, tomato paste, thyme, salt & pepper - whisking constantly until smooth. 2. Add beef, carrots, celery, onion, and potatoes - spoon some sauce over the beef if needed. 3. Cover and cook 8 to 9 hours on low or 4 to 4 1/2 hours on high. Thermometer should read 160*F in center of beef. |
