Simple and delicious. Ingredients:
1 cup rice |
2 3/4 cups water |
1 1/2 tablespoons butter |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 dash black pepper |
1 dash garlic powder |
1 teaspoon paprika |
1 teaspoon ketchup |
1 small onion, finely chopped |
1 (10 ounce) can sliced mushrooms (clams can be substituted) |
1/4 cup green pepper, diced (optional) |
Directions:
1. Combine all of the ingredients in a large microwavable casserole dish with a lid. Cook in the microwave on high for 18 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and serve. |
