1 c breadcrumbs |
1/4 c pecorino cheese |
2 t parsley, chopped. |
some salt and pepper |
1 egg |
2t water |
large mushroom caps |
some flour |
Directions:
1. mix breadcrumbs , cheese, parsley, salt and pepper in a bowl 2. in another bowl, beat egg +water 3. Scrape gills from mushrooms. Cut into strips 4. Dredge in flour, dip in egg, then crumbs 5. Fry in vegetable oil (350 degrees) until golden. |
