I created this recipe for a family dinner last month! Ingredients:
12 tiger prawns |
3 cloves garlic |
1 onion |
bay leaf |
salt |
pepper |
paprika |
olive oil |
1/2 cup port wine |
1 spoon of butter |
Directions:
1. Take the prawns body shell and leave the tail end and head. 2. Season with minced garlic, bay leaf, salt, pepper and paprika to your own taste. 3. Fry a chopped onion in 3 table spoons of olive oil. Don't let it burn! Add the prawns and cook it one minute each side. 4. Add the port wine and let it cook (depending on the size of the prawns) for 5 to 8 minutes. 5. Take the prawns to a serving dish and let the sauce on the frying pan cook so it reduces a bit. 6. Add the butter and take the pan of the heat so it melts evenly. 7. Put it over your prawns and it's ready! |
