This is from the Diana Liu cookbook. I'm posting it here for future reference. Ingredients:
1/2 lb fresh pork, sliced 1/8-inch thick |
1/2 lb pea pods, well washed and strings removed |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
1 tablespoon sherry wine |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1 teaspoon sesame oil |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
6 tablespoons oil |
Directions:
1. Mix sliced pork with soy sauce, sherry, sesame oil and corn starch. 2. Heat 4 Tblsp. oil in frying pan until hot. 3. Stir-fry meat mixture for 4 minutes; remove from pan; set aside. 4. Heat 2 more Tblsp. oil in frying pan until hot. 5. Stir-fry pea pods for 2 minutes. 6. Add salt and meat mixture; stir-fry 1 minute more. 7. Serve hot. |
