Ingredients:
2 apples peeled and diced |
1 bay leaf |
2 pound(s) boneless pork |
1 bottle beer |
2 tablespoon(s) brown sugar |
1 cup(s) canned or fresh diced tomatoes |
4 carrots diced |
2 cup(s) chicken broth |
cooked buttered egg noodles |
2 medium onions diced |
2 tablespoon(s) minced garlic |
6 tablespoon(s) olive oil |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. season pork with salt and pepper. Heat 4 tablespoons oil in heavy casserole over med high heat. Brown pork well in batches remove to bowl 2. Wipe casserole clean and heat remaining oil over low heat. Add oinions carrots and apples. Stir until softened, about ten minutes adding garlic last 3 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients except noodles. return pork and juices to the casserole. Bring to a boil reduce heat and simmer partially covered until meat is very tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Serve over egg noodles |
