This is a great was to serve your favorite dip or savory pie or tart. Spinach, onion, avocado etc. When cooled, I have never had a problem with it sticking to the pan when flipped. this makes for a different presentation. Ingredients:
1 bag pork rinds, pulsed in a food processor in small batches |
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese |
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1-3 eggs, beaten |
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients well adding one egg at a time until it forms a tight ball in you hand . press into a nonstick sprayed pie pan, going up the sides. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 8 minutes. let cool and add dip or filling. 2. If making a tart, savory pie or quiche. just fill and bake as normal 3. This can also be doubled to fit a pizza pan and topped white style with spinach, basal, pineapple etc. Bake before topping then bake to melt toppings. |
