l always made chicken marsala one day l only had pork in the house so l try it and it come out great easy for large group,l serve it with mashed potatoes and vegetables Ingredients:
8 fast fry pork loin |
1 teaspoon salt, and |
white pepper |
2 tablespoons flour, plus |
1 teaspoon flour |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 large shallot, finely chopped |
2 garlic cloves, minced |
6 ounces button mushrooms, thinly sliced |
1/2 teaspoon dried italian herb seasoning |
1/2 cup sweet marsala wine |
1/2 cup chicken broth |
1 teaspoon butter, softened |
1/4 cup water |
Directions:
1. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. 2. Dredge in flour .In a skillet,heat oil,cook pork ,in batches and turning once,until just a hint of pink.transfer to plate. 3. saute shallot and garlic until soft.Add mushroom,italian seasoning saute until golden 4. Add Marsala,cook until reduce by half.Add broth and 1/4 cup of water,simmer until reduced by half. 5. Meanwhile make a paste with the butter and flour stir into sauce and cook until thickened.return pork to pan and heat through about 5-7 minutes. |
