A delicious twist on an old favourite. Ingredients:
1/2 lb bacon |
2 lbs sauerkraut |
1 (15 ounce) jar applesauce |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
1/4 cup dry white wine |
1 dash black pepper |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
6 pork loin chops, 1-inch thick |
Directions:
1. Dice bacon & saute until crisp. 2. Drain on paper towels. 3. Mix bacon, sauerkraut,applesauce, sugar, mustard, wine, & pepper. 4. Saute chops on both sides until golden-brown. 5. Place chops on top of bacon mixture in a casserole dish. 6. Cover & bake at 350F for 1 1/2 hours. |
