This is a recipe I received from a farmers wife. She used to make it for her husband after a hard days work. It has become a favorite of ours and is delicious and simple to make Ingredients:
4 pork chops |
3 cups dry breadcrumbs |
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
1 onion, diced |
1/4 cup water |
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup |
1/3 cup water |
Directions:
1. Brown pork chops. 2. While pork chops are browning,mix together bread crumbs,poultry seasoning, melted butter, diced onion, and 1/4 cup water in large bowl. 3. Mix well and set aside. 4. In another bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup and 1/3 cup water. 5. Mix well. 6. Place browned pork chops in baking dish. 7. Cover pork chops and stuffing mix with topping. 8. Cover with foil. 9. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. |
