If you like sweet and sour, here is a different kind of pork chop. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon oil |
6 pork chops |
15 ounces tomato puree |
1/3 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup vinegar |
2 tablespoons parsley |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 teaspoon marjoram |
1/4 teaspoon sage |
2 onions, sliced |
1 lemon, sliced |
Directions:
1. Fry the chops in oil and remove from the pan. 2. Add onions and sauté 2-3 minutes. 3. Add sugar, vinegar, tomatoes and spices. 4. Add pork chops, cover with sauce and garnish with lemon slices. 5. Leave to cook on low heat for 40 minutes. |
