This recipe came from my grandmother. Wonderful! it was always a favorite of mine as a child. Ingredients:
8 pork chops |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon sage |
4 apples |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 cup hot water |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
1/2 cup raisins |
Directions:
1. Brown pork chops in hot fat. 2. Remove from fat. 3. Add flour and sage to hot fat; cook until thickened. 4. Add water and raisins. 5. Return pork chops to pan and slice apples over them. 6. Cover with brown sugar. 7. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. |
