From a 1975 Rival cookbook. So simple! Ingredients:
4 pork chops, 1 inch thick |
2 medium apples, peeled cored and sliced |
1 teaspoon butter |
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. In skillet, brown pork chops quickly; drain well. 2. Arrange a layer of sliced apples in crock pot, then a layer of pork chops; repeat. 3. Dot with butter; sprinkle with nutmeg. 4. Cook on low 7-9 hours. |
