Get back to the basics: The original, old family favorite. A delicious, crunchy coating and mouth-watering tender pork inside. Ingredients:
6 pork chops, thin cut |
3 (4 oz) bags of crushed saltine crackers |
2 eggs |
1/2 tsp onion powder |
1/2 tsp garlic powder |
3 tbsp vegetable oil |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Whisk eggs along with the onion and garlic powder in a shallow bowl or pie plate. Dump the cracker crumbs onto a separate plate. In a large sized skillet, heat the oil a over medium-high heat. Dip pork chops into the egg first, then press in the cracker crumbs to coat evenly. Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, just until they become golden-brown. Remove and place on a baking sheet. 3. Bake for 45 minutes, turning once. Remove, and serve immediately. |
