Apples, thyme, and Dijon mustard are classic flavors to pair with pork chops. Now those ingredients are prepared in a cocktail, but instead of pork, they are combined with bourbon. This is a flavor combination you've gotta try! Ingredients:
2 sprigs fresh thyme |
1 1/2 fluid ounces bourbon whiskey |
1 teaspoon dijon mustard |
1 fluid ounce apple cider |
1/2 fluid ounce lemon juice |
1/2 fluid ounce simple syrup |
1 sprig fresh thyme |
Directions:
1. Place 2 sprigs fresh thyme in a cocktail shaker. Add bourbon, Dijon mustard, apple cider, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Fill with ice, cover and shake until chilled. Strain into a large mug or mason jar filled with ice. Garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme. |
