Ingredients:
3/4 cup evaporated milk |
1 1/2 pounds lean ground pork |
1/3 cup finely chopped onion |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
2 1/2 tablespoons shortening |
3/4 cup catsup |
3/4 cup water |
3/4 cup finely chopped celery |
3 tablespoons prepared horseradish |
3 tablespoons lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Combine breadcrumbs and milk in a medium mixing bowl, stirring well; set aside 5 minutes. Add pork, onion, salt, and pepper; mix well. Shape pork mixture into 12 patties. 2. Melt shortening in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown patties on both sides; drain well. Place patties in a lightly greased 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking dish. 3. Combine remaining ingredients; stir well. Pour over patties. Cover; bake at 350° for 50 minutes. |
