Pork and Sage Burgers / Patties |

Serve with tomato salsa and a green salad. Ingredients:
1 lb ground pork |
2 teaspoons vegetable bouillon granules |
2 apples, grated |
1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped |
1 red onion, finely chopped |
1 red pepper, deseeded and finely chopped |
salt & freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Preheat the grill or broiler to high. 2. Put all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well to combine and season to taste. Divide into four and mould into burgers, squashing flat with your hand. 3. Cook the burgers on the grill or under the broiler for 1015 mins, turning regularly. 4. Test they are cooked through by inserting a knife, if the blade comes out clean, they are cooked. |
